Hi! I’m St. Nick, and yes, I’ve been here before. No hard feelings! Sometimes things just don’t work out, and honestly, the good people at Homeward Bound think it was probably a training problem more than a me problem. I never really got the guidance a one-year-old puppy needs to be his best self. So here I am, ready for a second chance and a real fresh start.

I’ll be honest with you: I am very much a puppy. I am a one year old boy, which means I am basically a furry toddler with opinions. I can get jumpy and mouthy when I’m excited and I have a thing or two to say about strangers. But when I’m with other dogs, I do great. Playgroup? Nailed it. The groomer? Zero drama. I just need someone to help me understand that not everything happening outside my line of sight is an emergency.

What I need is structure, patience, and someone willing to put in the work. And the good people here will even connect you with a trainer to help us both get started on the right foot. Anyone who’s ever committed to a young dog and watched them grow into something amazing knows exactly what I’m talking about.

Kids old enough to understand my energy and commit to my program would be fantastic. I don’t know much about cats yet. But I do know that somewhere out there is a person or a family ready to give me the foundation I never had, and I am going to be so worth it!
