Trained for a life on the hunt, Ruby has hung up that career for the life of a family dog. Smart, spunky, loyal, and active, Ruby is people-loving but best as the only dog in the home. She needs active, conscientious people who understand and respect her desire to be your one and only.

Ruby was raised for the hunt. Skilled, driven, and active, she has exceptional training skills, and good house manners. With her hunting days behind her, she is still up for a life of adventure. People-loving, she has the loyal heart of a typical Labrador Retriever. Her training, unsurprisingly, resulted in prey drive. She does not do well with small dogs, cats, or other critters. And when her hunting days ended, she was forced into breeding. It did not go well. She can be with other confident dogs, but requires careful introductions and is best as the only dog in the home. Ruby is an outstanding, devoted, companion who needs people who understand and respect her desire to be your one and only.
