Hi everyone! I’m Murphy! I traveled all the way from Korea to find my people, and let me tell you, I am absolutely ready to make it count.

Here’s what you need to know about me: I am a people-loving, fetch-obsessed, treat-motivated two-year-old Golden great dog who just needs little more help to bring out my best. I have the retrieve part DOWN. And the drop-it! I will literally drop anything for a treat, which the good people here say is a very promising quality.

I get along great with polite, easygoing dogs. I have actually been known to fall asleep in playgroup. Right there in the yard! I just ask for the same courtesy in return. If another dog gets rude with me on leash or at a fence, I have opinions about it. Loud opinions. I know it is not my finest moment, and I really am trying! I need someone patient and dog-skilled who will work through those moments with me.

I do have a little something going on with my kidneys; nothing that slows me down, but it does mean a special diet and regular checkups. I need a family who is in it for the long haul. I think humans they call teenagers would make fantastic adventure buddies, honestly. Someone who wants to throw the ball, go for a run, and then collapse on the couch with me sounds just about perfect. If you have the patience and maybe a good trainer in mind, I have all the love in the world to give in return.
