Hi everyone! I’m Murphy. A busy, two-year-old Golden Retriever boy! I may have come from halfway around the world, but even there where they don’t speak English, we Goldens share the same love language: People, Pets, and Balls! I’m a very affectionate boy who loves to play fetch and when we’re done…to snuggle! I will need some help filling in some training gaps. Where I came from, no one expected us to learn anything. I have the leash-walking thing down except when another dog gives me attitude. I’m working on turning the other cheek, but it’s still a work in progress, so I need someone dog-skilled and sturdy who will work with me on redirection. I have been to playgroup and did well with some of the nice gentle dogs, but right now, it would be best if I was your one and only while we work on completing my education. While we do the work, Homeward Bound thinks it would be best if my humans were all grown up. I’m a active boy and need regular exercise as part of our school work together. You know what they say…a tired dog is a good dog! And that’s me. A good dog who just needs a little help to be a GREAT dog!
