I’m Kylo…the once beloved dog of a family with two medically fragile children and a cat that did not mind rough play. Things changed with the kids I helped to raise and, so, here I am. I am six-years-old and was trained to be protective of my family and our yard. As a result, I am wary of men I haven’t met and will alert when something unexpected enters the yard. Don’t get me wrong, I loved my dad and his (huge!) best guy friend, but I require a slow introduction to guys I have not met. I watched over my mom and kids and did an awesome job. I have been taught some basic commands and pick these things up quickly. I never lived with another dog but met several here and could be matched to one that is not too rambunctious. Playing with the cat is more my style, but dainty cats might not be as thrilled with me. I’m off at foster right now because a home is where I belong. I miss having my own family to watch over and hope to find my forever one soon.
