• Sweet and loving but a little overwhelmed by current environment
• Escape artist; needs a secure home and yard and lots of attention to avoid boredom
• Not a fan of girl dogs…for now, should be only dog; Cats are a NO; OK for Kids 7+
• Needs to no longer be her brother’s keeper and start a new life on her own

Hi everyone. I’m Kiera…the other half of Simba, my brother. We’re both five years old and we’re here together for the crime of being escape artists! No…we’re not going home together. Separately, we’re great. Together, we can cook up all kinds of trouble! I’m an affectionate girl who enjoys human company. That said, I DO need a secure home and yard lest my wanderlust gets the best of me. I kind of took it upon myself to watch over my brother – even though he is bigger and stronger and perfectly capable of taking care of himself. My mothering instincts have made me kind of bossy around other dogs; especially girl dogs. It’s not something I’m proud of and we’re all hoping that it gets better when we go our separate ways. Still, full disclosure, for now I would probably be happiest as the only dog. Maybe in time, we could welcome another brother. Oh…and no cats. I chase. But I think having some sturdy kids to call my own would be great. I know some basics and have lived in a home. I’ll just need a refresher on more advanced skills. I can be really sweet and loving and I’m anxious to prove it in a home where there aren’t so many loud-mouthed dogs around! Let’s roll.
