Hi. I’m the shy, three-year-old girl sometimes pretending not to be seen! My name is Thelma and I am the other half of Louise! We were together making babies until someone was done with us and set us free. It was a bit of a frightening experience for us both, but more so for me. Louise is braver. She has shown me the way, but she deserves to have her own life now while I need someone who has the heart for shy dogs. Don’t get me wrong, I am a people-loving girl who soaks up belly rubs and loving. I just need to go slow about new people and places. I am a creature of habit, and I like to know what to expect. Once I have experienced it, I feel much better. I have been to foster and proven my good house manners. I am accepting of other nice, chill dogs who don’t get all up in your face. But you should know that I kind of want all the attention and others might get their feelings hurt. Cats too. And I think kids who are old enough to understand my needs would be great companions. I have learned a couple of things they call “commands” and I walk well on leash. So, the good people here say it’s my time to fly. I will thrive in a quiet, predictable home filled with love and patience. If you have one of those, please ask for me!
