Ruby was raised for the hunt. Skilled, driven, and active, she has exceptional training skills, and great house manners. She has put her hunting days behind her and has traded them in for the life of a loved family dog. Currently at foster, six-year-old Ruby is her human’s shadow and a faithful companion. People-loving, she has the loyal heart of a typical Labrador Retriever. Her training, unsurprisingly, resulted in prey drive. She does not do well with small dogs, cats, or other critters. And when her hunting days ended, she was forced into breeding. It did not go well. She can be around other confident dogs but requires careful introductions and is best as the only dog in the home. Ruby is an outstanding, devoted, companion who loves her walks and time spent with her people who understand and respect her desire to be your one and only. In return, she offers a grateful heart and a lifetime of loyal friendship.
