Hi everyone! I’m Murphy. A busy, two-year-old Golden Retriever boy! I may have come from halfway around the world, but even there where they don’t speak English, we Goldens share the same love language: People, Pets, and Balls! I’m a very affectionate boy who loves to play fetch and when we’re done…to snuggle! I will need some help filling in some training gaps. Where I came from, no one expected us to learn anything. I have the leash-walking thing down well except when another dog gives me attitude. I’m working on turning the other cheek, but it’s still a work in progress, so I need someone dog-skilled and sturdy who will work with me on redirection. I have been to playgroup and did well with some of the nice gentle dogs – especially the girls. Unless you have a sweet girl dog, it would be best if I was your one and only while we work on completing my education. I think humans they call teenagers would be great ’cause I’m an active boy and need regular exercise. You know what they say…a tired dog is a good dog! And that’s me. A good dog who just needs a little help to be a GREAT dog!
