Hi everyone…I’m Sly! I’m an almost one-year-old boy in search of an active, fun-loving family that understands that the dog is part of the family! I spent my first year of life living outside or in a garage. I didn’t have a huge issue with it because I didn’t know any different, but the other dogs here tell me that life can be better than that. Another thing that I missed out on but didn’t know it was something called training! Considering I didn’t get any of it, I do pretty well. I’m active, playful, and curious to meet other people and dog friends. Sometimes, my exuberance can get the best of me and I can get a little wiggly and jumpy with excitement. I enjoy other dogs but my only dog friend before was 13. So, when I meet a young dog now,  I can play a bit like an annoying adolescent. So, two things: I need patient people willing to put some time, attention and effort in…and I need a dog sibling or friends that are tolerant of my pranks. I walk pretty well on leash…better with a harness…’cause I am a strong boy. Oh…so three things…I need sturdy people. I’m told that’s not too much to ask, and I sure hope they are right because I’m excited to learn about the life of a loved family dog!
