Hi Everyone! I am Zoe! I am a three-year-old Golden Mix girl who was lucky enough to make my way from a over-crowded shelter down south to Homeward Bound. I don’t know why I was left at the shelter. I am a sweet and gentle girl whose world has been a little rocked. It’s left me a little unsure about things and a little shy. But spend some time with me and I will gladly show you my love of people and my desire to be by your side. I haven’t had a lot of formal training, but I walk well on leash and am pretty easy to handle. I can’t tell you if I have ever lived inside a home, but I keep a clean room here. I’ve met a lot of dogs here and I don’t mind them but I’m not feeling sure enough yet to engage too much. That may change over time, but I think for now, I would just like a calm place to call home with someone who is home most of the time to help me regain my confidence without the pressure of other pets. Older kids might be OK! I’m young and active and would like to become the kind of girl that can go adventuring with you: hikes, beach, camping…doesn’t that sound great?
