Willow

Willow’s career was in puppy-making, but she earned a one-way ticket out of that life. At just three years old, she has a lot of golden girl ahead of her, and she’s ready to spend it being adored. She walks nicely, loves her stuffies like her pups, and will lock eyes with you until you agree to scratch her belly.

  • Sweet, affectionate three-year-old girl who hung up her breeding career and never looked back
  • Housetrained and very gentle with treats
  • Loves her stuffed animals like they are her pups; will carry them around and care for them tenderly
  • Needs a home with time and attention to give; will repay you in eye contact and belly rub requests
  • Accepting of other nice dogs; Cats Unknown; Kids 7+

Hi, I’m Willow! I spent the first few years of my life as a breeding dog until I went on strike.  Lucky me. That got me here, and here is pretty great. I’m only three years old, which means I have a whole golden life ahead of me, and I intend to spend every bit of it being loved.

Here is what I’m all about: Eye contact and belly rubs. I will look right up at you with the most earnest expression you have ever seen until you give me the pets I deserve. And I deserve a lot of them. I’m also a dedicated stuffed animal mom. I don’t destroy my stuffies; I carry them around and look after them. It is a whole thing. I’m gentle with treats, easy to brush, and I know Sit and Down. I’m also quite good on the leash…right up until I decide the walk is over, at which point I will simply lie down on the sidewalk. I’m not being dramatic. I’m just very clear about my boundaries!

I seem to like other dogs just fine from what I’ve shown so far. I’m still getting used to life outside of a breeding situation. Cats are still an unknown for me. I’m a gentle, easygoing girl though, and I think with the right introduction, I could fit into a lot of different homes and maybe even have some human kids of my own.

What I really need is someone who has time for me. Not a lot of complicated requirements, just a person who wants a sweet, quiet companion to follow them around, stare at them lovingly, and occasionally flop down on a walk and refuse to move.
