Hi. I’m Teddy! You may have read about me. At one year of age, I found myself lost. My finders, having no luck locating my people, asked Homeward Bound for help because I couldn’t keep my food down and I was quickly disappearing before their eyes. Lucky for me, Homeward Bound said ‘yes’ and rushed me to the vet where I had emergency surgery to remove a toy that had folded in my intestine, blocking any passage. It was touch and go considering I only weighed 36 pounds! But I  pulled through. I went off to foster to recover and have already gained 20 pounds in a month. Everyone says I am a completely wonderful boy who is part Houdini and definitely still a puppy. I’m  energetic,  great with other dogs, and house-trained. I can startle easily at loud noises, but I am working on growing my confidence. I like water, LOVE toys, and will most definitely eat things I should not so the people here say I need neat and tidy people that put soft chewable things safely away (toys, socks, cloth items, etc.). Oh…and adult supervision! I’m the perfect young boy for people who are home more often than away and understand the importance of keeping me safe from myself!
