Hi all! Riley here! I am a three-year-old boy – tall, Golden, and handsome! And when I say tall…I mean I could sub in on any basketball team, no problem! I’m here at Homeward Bound looking for a new family. I was living with some nice people but didn’t get much training and it turns out that grandkids don’t like to be run over by bouncy, big boys who act more like puppies! I’m super loving and mean no harm…I’m just SO excited to meet everyone that it’s hard to contain myself sometimes. The people here say I’m a great boy with a lot of potential…I just need a dog-experienced person/people who can take me back through Doggie Manners 101. Apparently, I missed that course. I’m a sweet boy who just doesn’t know my own strength. I can get bored easily, so the more you can keep me mentally and physically stimulated and challenged, the better. You know what they say: A tired puppy is a good puppy! I think I might be hard of hearing because sometimes I listen and sometimes I don’t (they call it selective hearing around here!). But I absolutely light up like a Christmas tree when it’s time to go for a walk…maybe we could even try running if you’re into that. I can sometimes be a little slow and cautious to warm up to men, but for all my wild child-ness, I am a gentle and dainty boy when it comes to playing with other dogs. I like almost all of them! Do you have the room and time in your life to complete my education and help me blossom into the canine good citizen that waits inside me?? Let’s go. One thing I can promise…life will never be dull!
