Piper is a playful, active girl with an adventuring spirit. She comes with good house manners and training and is search of a family to love and hopefully, another dog to guide her as she sets out solo for the first time.

Well, my brother Marty blew it for us going home together! It appears he has enjoyed his independence here and decided that he no longer wants to share his toys or his life with me. So, I’m on my own now. I’m a four-year-old joyful girl with a Golden heart. I’m playful with good energy, but a little inexperienced with other dogs having devoted my life to Marty (who threw me to the curb!). I do enjoy and prefer the companionship of another dog, but they should be gentle with their play like me. People who are around a lot would be a great help while I get adjusted to my new life. I love people! I come complete with good house manners and some basic training; I walk well on leash, am playful and athletic, and seek out attention and affection without being in your face. And I share! I like kids and think some sturdy ones would be great fun…and…get this…I used to share a bowl of food with a cat! I’m sad about my brother, but ready to put that behind me with people that understand my broken heart and will be patient with me. Given my love of the outdoors and my adventuring spirit, I’m hoping for an active family that will love me and my Golden heart.
