Hi everyone. My name is Palomo. I’m a two-year-old boy. I know…you’re thinking: who named a big boy dog Palomo. In Spanish, it’s a girl’s name meaning dove. And while that’s one part of me…number one: I’m not a girl, and number two: I’m a handsome and strong boy who is no dove when it comes to other dogs. Don’t get me wrong…I don’t go looking for trouble. But I don’t want it brought to me either. I adore people, balls and toys and most of all my stuffies – and that’s all I need. Dogs need not apply. Same goes for cats. I’m actually happiest just being in your company and carrying my stuffie around. I know…so unmanly! Maybe that’s my dove side. I was picked up as a stray. Not my fault. I come from a part of the state where dogs are supposed to raise themselves and if they go wandering and get lost…well…oh well! I walk pretty well on a harness, but will need to go back to school on those other things they call dog skills. No one ever asked me to learn those things. Sometimes, I don’t know my own strength – like a giant puppy. We can work on that. But once I settle down and get my zoomies out, I’m super happy and affectionate and you can love on me, brush me, and fawn over me all day long! I’m SO good with that! More than anything, I’m looking for people who will love me enough never to lose me. Is that you?
