Hi there! My name is Olive, and I have to be upfront with you: I am an enthusiastic girl. The good kind of enthusiastic.

I came from the great outdoors and honestly, I think it shows. I have never really had someone take the time to teach me the ropes, which means I am arriving with excitement and potential in roughly equal measure. I am smart, I am food motivated, and I genuinely want to do the right thing. I just need someone willing to show me what that looks like. Once I have burned off some energy and settled into a rhythm, I am actually quite easy to work with. Training is something I think I am going to be really good at, once we get going.

Here is what I am already great at: fetch. I will drop the ball right at your feet and stare at you with my whole heart until you throw it again. I also love people, roll over for belly rubs, and take the gentlest treats once I am reminded to slow down. I think I would enjoy some sturdy kids, and I have a happy tail wag for basically everyone I meet. I have very strong opinions about catching lizards, voles, and mice, so cats are out for me, but it you have a small critter issue at home…I can fix that!

What I need is a family who is excited about a little bit of a project. Someone who will laugh when I do something ridiculous, celebrate when I figure something out, and take me outside twice a day to run it all out. I have so much living to do and I would really love to do it with you. Shall we get started?
