Nathan
Being homeless shook Nathan’s confidence a little, but patience, love, and time spent working together will bring out the best in this people-loving boy.
- Very friendly and affectionate once he feels secure
- Knows a few training basics; go back to school together to bring out his best while building an awesome bond
- Needs more socialization around other dogs; lacks experience and confidence
- Best as only dog for now; Cats unknown; Kids 13+ OK
- A really good boy with a kind heart in search of love
Hi. I’m Nathan! I was living in Vegas but had to get out of town when I couldn’t cover my gambling debts. Kidding! I’m three years old and somehow ended up homeless there. Let me tell you, Vegas is no place to be homeless! So, I hopped on the transport to Homeward Bound and here I am – looking for love! I’m a very friendly boy, but not the most confident dude initially. Being homeless for awhile will do that to you, but time and love helps a lot! So, please don’t mind if I am a little cautious at first. I’m very warm and friendly once I feel secure. My lack of confidence extends to other dogs. I’m just not always sure of their intentions. To start, I would probably be best as your only pup while you help me gradually open my world and get my mojo back through training, socialization, and lots of love. I don’t know about cats, but I think older kids would be fun. If you’re willing to give a formerly homeless guy some time and attention, I promise to be a devoted friend and companion!
