Marty and Piper: Bonded Pair

Marty here…speaking on behalf of myself and my sibling sister, Piper. We are the original odd couple…but a bonded couple we are…and we are very much hoping to stay together. We have lived together our whole lives but lost our humans when elderly people had to move in. It turns out that they can tip over easily and require a lot of care. We are still young and spry – and – judging by my weight – we got too much of the food attention and not enough of the exercise attention! We are both very social pups who get along well with other nice dogs. We both love kids, have good house manners, walk well on leash, and were taught all the basic skills. Neither of us can recall meeting a cat so that’s an unknown for us. I am a five-year-old, chill, friendly, and calm boy. At 114 pounds, I could use a little more of Piper’s energy! The people say that frequent short walks and strict adherence to my diet will help me get there. Piper is a four-year-old Lab and possibly Pointer-mix. She is a joyful, playful girl who has always looked up to me for reassurance and to boost her confidence. Together, we entertain ourselves well. Separately, she is constantly searching for me. I really hope I don’t have to leave her behind. Piper says she is willing to do anything to stay together…including pretending to be a Golden Retriever if you need that.
