My name is Lucky and I truly am LUCKY! I am a one-and-a-half-year-old Golden boy who has traveled a long way to meet you! I come from Chile. It’s a place where street dogs like me can eek out an existence, but the busy streets of Santiago are not exactly conducive to a long life. Cars, disease, and parasites have a way of cutting young lives short. Lucky for me, the nice people told their rescue partner that I could come and find a new life. Unlucky for me, I initially tested heartworm positive. But LUCKY FOR ME…the TEST WAS WRONG! A more complete workup shows that I am healthy and ready for home! I am a friendly, happy dog who likes other dogs and would be OK for most older kids. I’m a great companion, seeking a life of fun and adventures. I also need a secure yard and supervision: despite being a pretty chill guy, when I get bored and left alone too long outside, I tend to go looking for adventures on my own! I’ve come so far for a life I only dreamed of. Can you help me make it a reality?
