Hi everyone! I’m Leo, a two-year-old Golden boy, and yes, the name fits. I’ve got the mane, the swagger, and the appetite. Life got busy for my family, so my buddy Lucky and I came to Homeward Bound together, like a very handsome two-for-one. He’s a great wingman, but I’m ready to find a crew of my own.

People are my favorite thing in the world, with food a close second. I live at full speed, so if I’m not meeting someone new, I’m looking for something to do. Sit, down, and fetch are already on my resume, and I love learning more, because making you proud feels as good as any snack (okay, equally good). I do get so excited around treats that my teeth forget their manners, but we’ll work on that together. And tennis balls? I’m devoted. I’m a pro at the chasing part. ‘Leave it’ hasn’t made my resume yet, but I’ll gladly swap a ball for something equally exciting. On leash I’m a gentleman, especially in my harness, so you won’t get towed around the block.

Dogs are my kind of people. I came in with a pal, I stay cool when a dog next door has opinions, and I wouldn’t mind a roommate who can match my speed. Kids 7 and up sound like great playmates. Cats, though, are probably not my thing, so I’d rather skip the feline roommate.

Picture long walks, a ball in my mouth, and a person with lots of energy to share at least twice a day. You don’t need years of dog experience, just enthusiasm and a good stash of snacks for training. If you’ve got room in your pride, I’m ready to move in.
