Kurt here. At five years old, I am looking forward to living inside a home for the first time in my life. Since I was a puppy, I have been an outside and garage boy. I was sent here for being too interested in play. Guilty as charged. And you know what – I am thoroughly enjoying living at Homeward Bound…inside! I have a lot of catching up to do on training, including house training. But to live the life of a loved family dog – I’ll put in the work if you will too! I’m very friendly and affectionate and happy to meet new people. Despite my lack of formal education, I walk well on leash and pay attention when people ask me to do something. I have played respectfully with other dogs here with tail wagging, and I’m gentle enough for sturdy kids. I’m not sure about cats…they haven’t come calling…but my previous people said ‘no’ to kitties so maybe we’ll take their word for it. My biggest need in a new family? Love. And a dog bed inside. I don’t think that’s too much to ask. Do you?
