I’m Joey and I have traveled a long way to meet you. I came here with my brother all the way from Santiago, Chile. It’s a place where street dogs can eek out an existence, but the busy streets of Santiago are not exactly conducive to a long life. Lucky for us, Homeward Bound welcomed the  a transfer from a rescue partner so we could come and find a new life. I was very attached to my brother, but he was less attached to me. He went and found himself a new home so I’m on my own. I’m  a young boy (one and a half years old) with a bit of an old soul. I’m a little unsure of myself in new situations, but once I know you, I’m your best bud. I’m a happy boy who enjoys and returns affection and attention with a particular fondness for women. Unlike my outgoing brother, I do best in quiet and predictable home…chaos makes me nervous so I’m searching for adult companionship. I have had enough adventure for a lifetime. Peace and structure bring out my best. Do you spend the day gardening, watching movies, reading books in the warm sun, and maybe going for a walk or two? I’m your guy! A couple things you should know: definitely no cats for me…and don’t leave me alone and bored in the yard or I might wander. Be my best friend, and I’ll have no reason to roam!
