Hi! I’m Griffin! I BIG  puppy in a two-year-old dog’s body. It’s a familiar theme around here. I was found soaked to the bone in the rain storms last month. No one came to claim me. Maybe that’s because whoever my first people were never cared enough to give me the love or training I needed from the start. I am part Golden and part Great Pyrenees. Thus…the BIG part! I am sweet and goofy, and sometimes a little shy at first. I crave the attention of people but don’t always exhibit it with the best manners, but I have worked very hard with the people here to put this behind me. I can also pull a little on leash when I see something I want, so my people need to be experienced with big dogs – and sturdy! I enjoy play group and enjoy most dogs – especially the sweet ones. I’m just not good at giving corrections to those youngsters who want to be in my face, so let’s stick with gentle dogs. You see, despite my size, I am a BIG baby puppy who loves his stuffy toys and dreams of a home where I can be a true part of the family…and never, ever be left alone to fend for myself again!
