Hello kind people! I'm Ellery. I am six years old, and I have traveled across the globe to be here. My place of origin was China. It's not a good place to be a big dog like me. Given my age, I was probably somebody's dog until I got taken. I won't tell you what by destiny was, but I can tell you I am lucky and grateful to be here. I am a big hunk of red Golden love. I adore people, pets, and being by your side. I keep a clean room, walk well on leash, and may know some of those things they call commands…but I probably know them in Chinese, so get your translator app out! I am less certain about other dogs and may not have had much exposure to them. From a distance, I am fine with them. I just don't know their intentions up close. For now, I should be your one and only dog. That may change with time and training but let me tell you, I am more than enough dog to love and be loved all by myself! I don't know about cats…never hung out with one. But I think older kids who will work with me on politely sharing my toys would be great.
