Shy but oh-so-sweet…I’m Elaine! A two-year-old girl rescued from a life of breeding. Like of us who come from these places, I am experiencing a real life for the first time. It can be scary, but if you take things slowly and introduce new things gradually, I catch on quickly and will slowly offer you my heart. I have been at foster where I learned some important skills…like house training! My foster reports that while I was uncertain at first, I have good house manners, am easy to live with, and adjust with time and TLC. I would do best with another calm dog to give me confidence and show me the way. I appear to be OK with kitties, and kids who are old enough to understand me would be great. Mostly, I need patient, loving people with a calm home to finish blossoming into the dog I know I can be.
