Hi everyone. I’m Daisy. I’m a four-year old girl, part Golden, part something else, and 100% ready for my forever home. I’m a shy, go-slow kind of girl at first. I’ve learned to guard my heart a bit as I have been disappointed by humans before. If you’re able to get past that, you’ll quickly discover my gentle soul. I’ve been to foster and can report that I have excellent house manners, and am very easy companion to have in the house. I’m a calm girl – not one of those wild, rambunctious ones! I like a quiet home and am best with gradual introductions to people I don’t yet know. I might be OK with a dog that is more like me, but I think I would be just as happy soaking up all your attention. I’ll happily return it and lean in for love. Older kids who understand that I don’t like others’ paws or fingers in my food bowl would be great. Cats don’t quite get that, so let’s pass on them. My foster and the people here say I am sweet, funny, and very smart. I’m sorry my picture doesn’t show that…but it’s true. Come and meet me and I’ll be happy to show you!
