Abandoned, a kind rescuer made sure Daisy found her way to us. Affectionate, easygoing, and a good sport with other dogs, she is ready for a home where she can finally settle in and get the TLC she deserves.

Hello, I’m Daisy! I’m an 18-month-old girl who was found in a dog dumping ground. A kind rescuer spotted me and believed I deserved better, so now I’m at Homeward Bound where the good people here are helping me turn the page.
Let me tell you about me. I’m a people person through and through; a kind face is the best part of my day. Belly rubs are welcome, snuggles are encouraged, and I walk nicely on leash because I’d rather be next to you than ahead of you. I know sit and I’m eager to collect more tricks. Stuffies are my thing, so keep a few handy. A ball, on the other hand, is just a ball. No big deal to me! I’m easygoing about sharing and will happily swap a toy for a treat, and my food is never a battle.
Dogs are great as far as I’m concerned. I can wrestle with a playmate who wants to get rowdy, or I can lounge in the grass with a calmer pal. On my first day I sniffed politely, picked a cool spot and flopped down for a nice rest next to a new friend. I think teens and grown-ups would be the right fit for a gal with my bounce and heart.
I’m hoping for people with a little patience and a lot of love, who want a dog to share the couch and the daily routine. You don’t need years of dog experience, just a warm heart and a willingness to show me how things work in a real home. I’ll save you a spot on the cushion.
