Hi everyone! I’m Bronco! I am a one-and-a-half year old Golden boy and a much loved family dog. Sadly, my family had to move and could not take me with them. They cared enough to get me here in hopes that Homeward Bound could find me another family to love. I love being with people who treat the dog as a member of the family. I was raised with kids and lived with a cat (more on that to come). I am house and crate-trained, and know a bunch of stuff on the dog school checklist. I am an excellent companion…my people said I always comforted them when I felt something was wrong. I LOVE outdoor adventures like hiking and swimming and I am good in the car. I can be a bit of a goofball…chasing shadows and light. And I can sit all day while you rub my ears and call me “handsome man!”  So what’s not to love? Not much. Some say I don’t really understand about personal space (it’s a Golden thing!), and while I have co-existed indoors with a cat – if they run outside, I will chase. I am a very active boy who needs lots of exercise, and I can sometimes pull on the leash when I get excited. All young dog things. My dad said to tell you that I don’t like yelling – in the house, or from other dogs. I prefer a fun but calm environment…not a lot of chaos and definitely no trash talking! Could you tell that to some of the loud mouth dogs here? It’s been nice to visit, and I know the Homeward Bound people will pick well for me, but I’m ready to bust out! Let’s go!
