Hi all! My name is Brady. I am a four-year-old love bug and a once-loved dog. I lost my home when my people got a human puppy who developed a severe allergy to me. It broke all our hearts to have to say goodbye but my people got me to Homeward Bound to help me find a great new family. I am a happy, affectionate boy who has excellent house manners and a lot of basic training. I walk pretty well on leash although I am a curious sniffer about the world around me and when I see other dogs, I can pull. So my people need to be sturdy and aware of our surroundings (put that cell phone away!) to redirect me. I crave daily exercise…you know what they say…a tired dog is a good dog! And I like to be good and tired! I adore people and am very happy to meet everyone. I don’t really adore other dogs, and I prefer not to live with one, thank you! I like cats, but some may not like me. I like to play and chase so I need a cat that tolerates that kind of enthusiasm from the dog! I think older kids would be great. The little ones may want to take my food, and I prefer that my food be left alone…thank you! The cutest thing I do: I like to gather things and take them to my pile to watch over. So, I recommend a tidy house unless you want me to pick up after you! I do have this thing called IMHA (Immune Mediated Hemolytic Anemia) – a condition where the immune system attacks healthy red blood cells causing anemia. It happened a couple years ago and I’m recovered now, but it means that I cannot be vaccinated and there are certain medications I can’t take. So, keep me healthy and away from places where I could catch dog germs, please. My former mom and dad said anyone would be lucky to adopt me. I agree! Can’t wait to hear from you! XXOO, Brady
