Bo and Buck

Bo and Buck’s people went their separate ways, but these gentle six-year-old Goldens stuck together. Great family dogs who are excellent with kids; one is a lap-loving snuggler; the other is always up for an adventure. Together they make the ideal pair for a loving home that wants a couch buddy and a walking pal in one.

  • Two gentle six-year-old Goldens from a home; brothers by choice, not by blood
  • Bo and Buck lost their home to divorce and were given up in a stream of tears; Deeply bonded, they adore each other and their people
  • Bo is the lovable lap-seeker and huggable “big stuffed animal”; Buck is a little more independent and active, but loves his people just as much
  • Accepting of other calm dogs; OK with Cats; Great with kids 5+
  • A bonded pair looking for a loving home with room for two sweetheart family dogs

Hi everyone! Bo here, and the guy gazing out the window and pretending not to listen is Buck. We’re two six-year-old Goldens who aren’t littermates but grew up together. When our people went their separate ways, we made it clear that nobody was splitting up the act, so we landed at Homeward Bound as a duo and we’d like to leave as one.

I’m the lap guy. Sit down anywhere near me and I will arrive. I’m the big, lovable type who wants to be leaned on, draped over, and hugged for as long as you’ve got. Kids? They can climb all over me. I’m in! Buck is the more independent one, a little more active and happiest on the move, though he’ll flop onto his back for belly rubs the second you offer, especially if there’s a stuffie within reach. Between the two of us, you get a snuggle on demand and a sidekick for the stroll.

Let’s talk résumé. We both have some training basics, are easy to manage, and we have good house manners from our years in a home. We’re also on a mission to shed a couple of pounds, so daily walks are on the calendar and treats are, let’s say, negotiable. We have  lived with kids of all ages, cats, and dogs, and we handle the crowd just fine. We’re polite to other dogs, but truthfully, we’ve each already got our favorite one right here.

So, think of it as the best bang for your Buck, with a Bo-nus on top (OK…we have dad jokes, too!). Two gentle Goldens, one happy home, and one tricky question about who gets the good spot on the couch. Come meet us and help us settle it!
