Birdie Mae

A gentle girl with great house manners and training basics deserving of a fresh start. She will thrive in an adult-only home where she can blossom with patience and loving care.

  • Gentle, two-year-old girl who loves to run and play
  • Excellent house manners and many training skills; walks well on leash
  • Was not well-treated by the child in her former household
  • Best as only dog for now; Owner reported OK with cats but not tested; Adult-only home
  • A great dog who deserves a fresh start with patience and loving care

Birdie Mae was surrendered to keep her safe from a human boy who was being unkind to her. She arrived scared and nervous but is flourishing now that she has been removed from that situation. She is not a fan of the kennel, but a joyful, playful girl once she can run free in our large yards. She has excellent house manners and good training basics. Her former owner reported she was good with cats, but we have not found one willing to test her! She is not interested in children as a result of what she has experienced. Birdie Mae needs and deserves an adult-only home with loving and caring people so she can put the past firmly behind her.
