Steven and Pearl
Why have one golden mix when you can have two? Best friends Pearl and Steven were found together, and they are happiest as a pair. Playful, cuddly, and braver with each other by their side, they are looking for an active home ready for double the wiggles and double the love.

- Two one-year-old sweet, petite golden mixes who are best friends and a package deal: double the wiggles, double the love
- Steven is the bold, bouncy one who leads the way; Pearl is the gentle shadow who warms up fast and soaks up cuddles
- Playful, affectionate, and each other’s built-in exercise buddy; best in an active home with a secure yard
- No formal training but easy to manage; Need more experience on leash and frequent potty trips to perfect their house training
- Social with most nice dogs; Cats May Be OK; Kids 10+
- Looking for people ready for twice the fun, with room for two on the couch
Hi everyone! We’re Pearl and Steven, one-year-old golden mixes, and yes, we come as a set. We are sweet, petite, inseparable pocket Golden mixes (just 30 lbs each); What we lack in size, we make up for in heart and we seek a home together
We were found roaming in So Cal on our own. We had each other and that got us through. We missed out on the early lessons that teach a dog to be brave, so we came up with our own system: we are each other’s courage.
Steven bounds into every new place like a puppy, ready to lick faces and make friends with whoever’s there. Pearl is gentler and a little shy, so she sticks close to Steven until she’s sure all is well, melting into a full-on snuggler. We share a bowl and Steven makes sure Pearl gets seconds. That’s the kind of team we are. We’re still working on our leash skills and house manners, but we bring plenty of enthusiasm to the classroom, and we’ll be learning side by side.
We think other dogs are great fun, and cats may be OK with a little time to get acquainted. We think kids 10 and up would make fantastic friends. Whenever someone’s looking for a playmate, there’s always one of us right there, which makes for twice the zoomies and a very happy pile of sleepy fluff on the floor afterward.
So here’s our pitch: Why settle for one golden mix when you could have two BFFs who equal the size of one, greeting you at the door, napping in a heap, and wearing each other out? We’d love an active family with a secure yard and big hearts who will adopt us together. Got room for two? We’re ready when you are!
