Hi, I’m Baker. Somehow I ended up out there in the big, wide world on my own until a good Samaritan found me and brought me here. So glad that chapter’s closed.

I’m three years old, playful, and have pretty typical young Golden energy. I love a good romp, and I’ll happily chase a ball if you toss one my way. But I settle in easily once I’ve had a chance to stretch my legs, pressed up against you while soaking up a long scratch.

I do get a little too excited about treats (I’m working on my gentle mouth, promise), and I’m still learning proper leash manners; a harness and some patience go a long way with me.

I get along well with most kids and would happily welcome a canine roommate to help burn off some of this energy. Cats, though, probably aren’t in my future. If you’ve got an active household with kids 10 and up, plenty of room to run, and space on the couch for when I settle, I’m your guy!
