Hello, I’m Barley. My last home had little ones underfoot, and their wobbly, unpredictable movements left me on edge more often than not. Nobody did anything wrong; it just wasn’t the right fit, and it’s time I found a home where I can relax.
I’m six years old and built for comfort, not speed. The moment I meet someone new, I hop right up onto the nearest bench beside them and cover their face in kisses like we’ve known each other for years. Long hikes aren’t really my thing; give me a couch and your company any day.
I get along fine with other calm, easygoing dogs, though I mostly keep to myself. Cats are uncharted territory for me. Kids over 13 who understand how to give a mellow guy his space would suit me well.
