Hi, I’m Cedar! I’m a four-year-old boy who traveled a long way for my second chance…all the way from China. My early years are a bit of a mystery even to me. But I hear that’s okay here, it’s what comes next that counts, and I’m ready for it.

I am, without question, a big, sweet boy. Give me a ball or a toy and I am the happiest dog around. I especially love carrying one proudly in my mouth on walks. I’ve got a soft mouth for treats and I’ll happily trade a toy for one, no drama, no fuss. In fact, my love of treats may be why I earned the dreaded weight loss plan at Homeward Bound!

I mostly keep to myself around other dogs, I’ll look their way but I’m not much for making a scene. I haven’t spent much time around cats, so I can’t say either way about that. I do  think kids would make great playmates for me, and I’m easygoing enough that adopters newer to dogs should do just fine with me.

I’m a gentle, happy-go-lucky guy just looking for a family to call my own. Please pack a steady supply of balls. What do you say? I’m ready today!
