- Sweet and affectionate girl with good manners already in place
- Knows her commands (Sit, Down, Stay, Come, Shake) and walks nicely on leash
- Working through some skin issues which are on the mend; loves grooming time and spa days
- Best as the only dog in the home; Cats probably not a fit; Kids 15+
- Shy at first, but warms up fast and just wants to be someone’s whole world
Hi there, I’m Minnie! I lost my home through no fault of my own. My family loved me, but couldn’t afford the care I needed to feel and look my best. The good news is that Homeward Bound stepped in and things are greatly improved with twice weekly medicated baths. Together, we can put that in the rear view mirror!
I’m a very sweet four-year-old girl with a list of tricks longer than my leash: sit, down, stay, come, even shake! I do get a little too excited when treats come out so please hand them over nice and slow. What I really love are my spa days. Brush me, bathe me, baby my skin a little, and I will melt into a puddle of happy golden love every time. I’m a bit of a high/low maintenance kind of dog: I need some extra care right now, but I make it so easy and rewarding.
I’ll be honest, other dogs just aren’t really my thing. I do best as the only four-legged friend in the house, with all the attention to myself. Diva? Maybe. Cats probably aren’t my speed either. I can be a little shy and unsure when I first meet someone new, but give me a few minutes and I warm right up into the affectionate girl I really am. I think a family of adults or older teens who understand a quiet girl and will give me a calm, predictable routine would suit me best.
What I’m hoping for is a peaceful home where I get to be somebody’s whole world. I promise to repay you with snuggles, good manners, and all the golden girl love I’ve got. Is that home yours?
