Hello. My name is Bosco. I am a two-year-old once loved family dog who lost my home when my mom got sick and could not care for me. I have lived in a home and have good house manners. My mom said I was pretty chill, but here at Homeward Bound and at my foster home, I have been a little more excitable. There’s a lot going on! So please excuse me if I jump up to greet you, or to try to help myself to the coveted stuffy toy you are holding in your hand! I am used to having my humans around and am not the kind of dog you can leave in the backyard all day. I get bored and when I get bored, I might rearrange your lawn. I know some basic commands and enjoy walks but can pull a little sometimes, so sturdy people are best for me. I was not raised with other dogs and am a bit choosy about my dog friends. I did live with one at foster. I liked him a lot, but I’m not sure the feeling was mutual! I am inexperienced in play with other dogs and have more to learn on that front. What can I say? I’m a young boy who needs a little help filling in some gaps, but I absolutely adore people and if you want to give me belly rubs all day…I’m good with that!
