Hello! I’m Shelby and I am very pleased to meet you! At only one year of age, I must have taken a wrong turn and found myself lost. Lucky for me, the dog police helped to get me to Homeward Bound. I’m a happy, fun-loving girl with great energy. I love to play and think I might make a great running partner for someone who is sturdy on their feet. Why? When I see birds, squirrels or kitties…I get a little (lot) distracted! They call it prey drive. So, I need someone to work with me on keeping my mind and body focused when those things cross my path. I haven’t had a lot of training but I think something structured and active would be great for me…like agility! Some dogs are couch potatoes who just want to snuggle all day…not me. I’m an independent kind of girl who would love to live a life of adventure with you. I am accepting of other confident dogs like me; little dogs or dogs who lack confidence would not be a good match. And cats? Forgetaboutit! I’m the perfect dog for an active person, couple, or family that has the time and skill to focus my drive into the most awesome girl ever!
