Hello, my name is Percy. My foster says you can call me Perfect Percy! I’m not a Golden, but I definitely have a Golden heart, and I’m the same color!!  A little about me.  I’m a six-year-old yellow Lab.  I’m not sure how I got here from somewhere in Southern Ca.  I think my owner moved across those heavenly gates humans talk about, but I do know someone loved me.  I smile all the time, and when I’m not smiling, I will use my very sad Labrador eyes to try to get my way.  They say, that’s what yellow Labs do.  When I wag my tail, I wiggle my whole butt.  I am good with other dogs, and I love kids.  I don’t know about cats, but I also can’t remember if I’ve ever met one.  My favorite hobbies are sleeping and following my people; everywhere.  I love snuggles and they say I snore A LOT and I’m quite loud, but I think that’s why I’m so loved.  I’m pretty mellow, but I do get the zoomies and I really want to play, I’m just not sure how sometimes.  I hope my new family will show me the way.  I was at foster where I lived with two Goldens, a ten-year-old and a three-year-old and boy do we have a great time together, playing and running around the backyard.  I don’t bark very much and I don’t jump on our guests, like my foster siblings do.  I have good house manners, like other dogs, and make myself right at home. I love treats, and I take them nicely.  What’s most important in my FUREVER home are one of two things: humans who are around all the time OR another dog companion…I am not used to being alone and it scares me. Oh…and people who will rub my belly, have comfy dog beds (I love naptime) and love me.  If you’re out there looking for a boy who will be your new BFF and shadow, and you enjoy cuddling as much as I do – please ask to meet me!  I’d love to meet you.
