Hi everyone! I’m Kayla! You may have read my story. My mom, her babies, and I were left outside in a chicken coop when our people moved away. Thanks to quick action on the part of our rescuers, we are all safe and well! I am nine months old and a pretty petite Golden Girl. I am happy and friendly, and absolutely love people – always wanting to be by your side. I have never known life without my mom, so having people that are home most of the time and a dog companion will help build my confidence. While I am absolutely beautiful and a total love bug, I have had zero training, so we’ll have to start at the beginning. Good news…I do walk well on leash and my foster mom says I am progressing quickly working on my potty training and house manners. There’s still more work to do but I catch on quickly with people that are around to a lot to consistently anticipate my needs and provide the supervision and reassurance I crave. I don’t know about cats, but I think kids who help with my training (and play!) would be great fun. I’m ready to brave the big brave world without my mom if you will walk by my side. Are you in??
