Hi. I’m Toast! You’ll have to look close to the ground for me. I’m a one-year-old Golden/Long-Haired Dachshund mix. How did that happen? It’s not for polite company! I’m an adorable, tiny boy– only 19 pounds – who ended up lost and no one came to claim me. No one here can figure out why. My foster mom says I am one of the best dogs that have come through her door, and she’s seen a lot! I love other nice dogs and am particularly good with small dogs. I haven’t had formal training, so we’ll have to start at the beginning. I’m working on my potty training now as well as walking on a leash. I don’t really care about toys, but I love treats. That will help make training easier. I am very happy to meet new people and love to be pet. I’m guaranteed to make you popular with everyone! I’m hoping to find people that are home a lot and have a secure yard. I am so little…I can get under things that big dogs can’t. I don’t know about cats, but I think kids would be great fun. If you’re in search of a pint-size boy with a great personality…look no further!
