Miss Lacey here! I am a petite and sweet little bundle of energy and joy. At only one year old, I was found wandering. The dog police picked me up, but no one came to find me. Let me tell you, I was terrified in that place. But the minute I arrived at Homeward Bound, I knew everything would be OK. My favorite things are playing in the yards, going to playgroup with the other dogs, and taking my walker friends on walks – although they would say that it’s more like walking a drunken sailor. Not my fault! I never got any real training. But I love treats and I love my toys, and I will do just about anything for either reward! I would love to have some fun, sturdy grown and little people in my life, maybe another dog, and potentially a cat if it’s dog-savvy and you do a good introduction. I’m hoping that you will help me complete my education so I grow up to be an excellent canine citizen. I am a Lab through and through, which means that while I can run and play with the best of them, I can also settle into snuggles and will happily share my truly loyal heart.
