Felix is a happy, active, affectionate young Lab boy in search of a forever family. Having waved goodbye to the son he kept safe, he is ready to start down his own path. True to his breed, he is loyal and loving. Help fill in some gaps and you’ll be rewarded life long!

Hi, I’m Felix! A sweet, affectionate, two-year-old boy who has completely vexed the camera person here with my camera shyness! I am much more handsome than my photos. Just ask anyone! My son and I were found running in traffic not far from Homeward Bound. When no one came to claim us, Homeward Bound said they would help get us to the kind of home that doesn’t lose their dogs! My son has now decided to blaze his own trail and got himself adopted. That’s OK. We were a lot together. The volunteers around here called it dog-sledding! Now that I know he’s in good hands, it’s time for me to find my own path. I am people-loving like most Labs, happy, affectionate and excited to greet you! Give me a few minutes and I do settle in a bit, but I am an active boy who needs daily exercise and play. Oh, and you can give me pets all day long if you want. I’m totally good with that! I’m kind of a blank slate with no formal education to speak of. But I aim to please and you know that I am a loyal companion ‘cause I stayed by my son’s side and kept him safe through thick and thin. I enjoy other dogs and did great in play group. I’m probably not a cat’s best friend, but I would be one to a sturdy kid or two! I hear they also love to play! You’re gonna need to catch me up on some basics, but while we do that, I promise you’ll never have a dull moment! Just ask for Felix, the dog-sledding happy boy!
