Sweetie

Young Sweetie is as good as her name. A little shy at first, she does love people and blossoms in the company of another gentle dog. Good with dogs, bunnies, kids, and likely cats, she is ready for home!

  • Sweet and gentle-hearted young girl
  • Raised with kids, rabbits, and small and large dogs
  • Good house manners; crate-trained; but needs more exposure to the rest of the world and training basics
  • Needs the company of another gentle companion dog; may be OK with kitties; OK for kids 6+
  • Still young with puppy ways; needs regular exercise and continued socialization

Hi! My name is Sweetie, and it is a fitting name for me! I am only six months old and came here with my brother. He went and got himself adopted, so now it is just me. I was raised in a family with little kids, rabbits, small dogs, and by brother – a dog kind of like me. We all got along swimmingly, but my people had to move to a smaller place with no room for us two. Sawyer was my bud and my confidence builder. I’m a little sad and shy without him, but the people here tell me that it’s time for me to be my own dog and shine…so I am giving it a try! I have been hanging out with some other young dogs and we get along well together…although it’s a lot of puppy and puppy antics! I do need to have another nice and gentle dog in my life, but it should be one a little more grown up to help show me the way. I have already proven myself around younger kids and bunnies, so the people here think I might be OK with a kitty as well. I come with little formal training – but lots of good house manners including crate training. We can start together working on that other stuff. As long as there is a treat or a stuffy toy as a reward, I am all in! Come and meet me. It’s my time to shine!
