I’m Charlie! I’m a six-year-old boy who got lost in Las Vegas. A nice rescue group there sprang me from lockup and I hopped a bus headed straight to Homeward Bound. It was the first luckiest day of my life. I had a ruptured mass which turned out to be cancerous. But the vet was able to get it all and send the “c” word packing. My second luckiest day! I have been to a foster home where my great manners were on full display. I’m house-trained and know how to behave in a home. I do have some truly Golden traits you should know about: I will nudge you when I need petting; I will lean in for loving; I will want very much to cuddle; and I will insist that you play ball with me! It’s my favorite thing. I have had some basic training somewhere along the way and enjoy my walks. I can sometimes pull a little on leash, so you should be steady on your feet and remember to use a harness. I think older kids would be fun (especially if they play ball!); not sure about cats; and I’m OK going by other dogs, but I don’t want to live with one. I’m dog-enough to fill your heart. If you’re looking for a boy with a true golden heart that fits easily into your life…I’m your man! Bring me home make it my third luckiest day!
