I’m Maggie, a very polite lady of a certain age. Ladies don’t typically share their age, but the people here said I had to give it up…so OK…10. But 10 in chronological years, not in heart or spirit. I was found wandering a busy highway last summer. My rescuer took me in and did everything to try to find my people, but no one came forward. Unable to find my old home or a new one, my rescue person asked Homeward Bound if they could help…and here I am! I hear there are lots of great homes out there for sweet dogs like me. I have good house manners, enjoy my walks, love to go on rides, and most of all – I love to meet new people. I’m very friendly and easy-going with humans and dog friends as long as the dog friends aren’t too pushy. I don’t know about cats, but I have met small humans so we agreed that little ones that are old enough not to yank and prank on the dog would be great. After wandering around lost, my priority is clear: I want to be by your side and stay there! My foster mom says that I am a joy with so much love to give. She got that right! I’m just waiting on you.
