Hi. I’m Maya. My mom was a Goldendoodle and my dad was a Labradoodle. I guess that makes me ALL Doodle…and it fits! I’m only six months old but I’ve been bounced around a couple times. Puppies require upbringing, and, sometimes, people forget that! The best thing ever is landing in my current foster home. My foster people know all about puppies and what we need so we have been working hard to ensure that my next home is truly my forever home!! Like all Doodles, I have a lot of energy. I love to running, playing, and great adventures! When my zoomies get worn out, we work on training. I know some basic commands now, am crate-trained, sleep through the night…and best of all…I go potty outside! I am very food and praise-motivated…just tell me what you want me to do…reward me with a treat and nice words…and you’ll find that the poodle part of the Doodle in me is super smart! I adore people and other dogs! Sometimes I get a little too excited and jump or mouth when I’m playing and overstimulated, but I’m just trying to make friends while learning the boundaries. I’m still learning to understand when other dogs and humans need a break, so I’d love a big doggy brother or sister who can help teach me the ropes. I’d do best in a home with older kids who can handle my playful energy, I’m very strong already, and I’m not done growing! I would do best with someone whose home a lot and has lots of time to give me the attention, training, and regimented schedule I crave. I’m a great fit for someone who loves the great outdoors—I need a lot of exercise, and I love adventures in nature! I’m sweet, smart, and curious, and I’m going to be an amazing adult dog. I just need someone who’s as dedicated to helping me grow as I am to loving them. If you’re ready for a loyal, playful, and oh-so-sweet furry friend, I’m ready to meet you!
