Donner
This sweet older gentleman still has a lot of pep in his step! Donner is asking one of his forever family members to be home often to share his loving company. He is available as a permanent foster and Homeward Bound is honored to be able to cover all of Donner’s medical needs.

At age 11, I may be a senior citizen, but have no doubt, I still get around and do all the things that Labs are known for. First and foremost, I have a loving Labby heart. I am a grateful companion who just wants to spend his days with a human who understands loneliness and is looking for a faithful friend. I’m not much interested in living with another dog. At this point in my life, I don’t need more dog friends – I need human ones. And those human ones should be homebodies like me because I get scared…and into trouble…when left alone. That’s probably how I ended up wandering the streets. They call it ‘stray.’ I call it ‘in need of a dedicated friend.’ I have no idea what ‘training’ means. But I am a gentle, sweet old man who will happily be your lap dog as you brush and pet me. I am also available for what they call “permanent foster.” That means that, as long as you live within a certain distance, Homeward Bound will ensure my medical care for the rest of my days. I hope they are long and with you!
