They call me Star, but I must admit…I am far from being a “star!” I am an 8-year-old boy who hasn’t a clue about being a family dog. I am trying to learn, and I watch everything around me trying to figure out what I am supposed to do. I do love people and it’s so nice to finally be able to spend time with them and learn new things. Most of my life, I have been left outside and told to keep critters away. Because of this, I am not suitable to live with cats or other small animals. I am fine with other dogs and animals my size, it’s the wee ones that I want to chase!

I am learning to walk on a leash and do really well – until I spot one of those small critters! I am going to need someone strong and willing to take a chance on me. I love treats and am learning that if I do something good…my mouth gets a treat! I like to play with toys sometimes, but I don’t know what I am supposed to do with those balls people keep throwing.
