Sky is a beautiful, sweet, two-and-a-half-year-old girl who is looking for a special angel. She doesn’t know it, but Sky has advanced kidney disease. She loves people, enjoys other nice dogs, has great house manners, is easy to handle, lives a full life, and is a 100%-certified Velcro Golden Retriever who got dealt some bad genes. Sky is enrolled in our Permanent Foster Program. That means that for people living in our region, Homeward Bound will ensure all her medical care, including her special diet. She needs and deserves a person or family that understands that none of us come with expiration dates, and it’s the quality of our days – not the quantity – that matters most.
